TRP World Update: Cyclocross Kick Off!
Let's start this CX SPECIAL with a look at Cross Vegas! This year, new course...
Watching the start of Cross Vegas was typically exciting as the ELITE MEN fired off two hot laps before heading out. Thru course obstacles like the TRP Brake Zone, the Focus stairs, the Lazer Stairs and onto the Knog Backstretch - which was more of a slug stretch than you might think - and Ryan Trebon hits out STRONG! Watching a rider like Trebon check out is impressive. He attacked up the hill and instantly had 5 seconds. That held for a few laps and then it all came together until Ben Berden and Geoff Kabush Jeremy Powers brought him back, then JPow fired off his own check out maneuver...a race winner as it turns out. The rest of the main group was tightly grouped as they jockeyed for an advantage....until Ben Berden and his Parabox Discs...lit out off the front of the group to round out the podium. For TRP this came on the heels of fellow Raleigh rider Craig Etheridge's big win in the Wheelers/Dealers race, on a single speed no less.
In fact TRP put 7 in the top 15. We are honored that some of the industry's best and brightest roll TRP's including Jon Cariveau (Moots), Chris Smith (Lazer), Spencer (Ritte) and . Our depth of product line allows everyone to choose the set up that works for them, everything from the Parabox Disc (Estheridge, Acosta), to the venerable CX8.4 (Ritte Team, Gates Carbon Team), to the classic Eurox or CR959's...all the way up to the new Revox. No one else comes close...
